I started Joyous Origins after being diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve and told my chances of IVF working with my own eggs were dismal. I felt so alone and like no one understood what I was going through. With support, I was able to find hope in the donor conception process and we welcomed our baby girl in June of 2024. When I say I’ve never smiled brighter - I mean it!

Joyous Origins is a space for you to feel seen, supported, and understood—no matter where you are in your journey. Being adopted myself, I bring a unique perspective to family building. I understand what it means not to be genetically related to my family and this gives me great insight when working with families pursuing egg donation. I also have lived experience in a multi-racial family. I hold a Master’s Degree in Public Health & Epidemiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

I have a wealth of knowledge supporting the infertility and donor conception village as the Community Support Host and Engagement Leader at Infertility Unfiltered since May 2024.
